JUTTA GIETL
Jutta Gietl is a contemporary artist, who lives in Reno, NV.
She works with different media, such as copper, glass, rusted metal, bark, bones, which she integrates into her oil paintings to spin off a story titled, the “Trail – Trash- Treasures”.
She works with the metal “copper “ and uses edging technique and imprints flowers or leaves onto the surface.
Her distinctive personal style emanates joy and peace and a vibrant spirit of an explorative soul which invites to the visual story.
As a native of Nuremberg, Germany ,she started her creative journey from an early age and showed her art in Munich, Germany. Her business career as an engineer brought her to Reno, NV, where she pursues her passion.
She holds a master degree in Material sciences and engineering and worked all over the world in injection molding and plastics engineering. To balance the fast pace and pressure in this industry she always balanced her spirits exploring the mountains and forests of the Sierra Nevada or Germany.
Nature has so much to offer, don’t destroy it!!!
