Jutta’s deep connection with nature is the heartbeat of her artistic expression.

Using abstract expressionism, she applies a fusion of contrasting elements ; push and pull, light versus dark, smoothness versus texture, juggling size scales to construct harmonious balance amidst chaos.
Like a beachcomber she collects her treasures, while hiking in the mountains, woods, deserts or along the shorelines, brings them back into her studio, where she weaves her stories in oil on canvas. Deeply imprinted in her canvases is a call to break out of algorithmic mind-cages, invoking broad explorative freedom and inviting tranquil enjoyment.
Born and raised in Nuremberg, Germany, her professional career as an engineer, made her traveling the world, applying her skills in injection molding and material sciences in diverse industries. She always found solace in the mountains, to counter the fast paced and demanding nature of the business and pursued her art even more after she retired from the business world
